Ok I tested the jsb 25 gr and they shot 860 fps is all I could get out of them in the FX crown 22 500 mm . They shoot pretty good but with the reg set to max and 145 bar was the max tha same setting shot the predator 16 gr to 1020 fps and inside 50 they were ok as well but leaving the settings...

Starting to understand these guns , after adjusting the internal hammer spring and getting big velocities from 150 bar I noticed it was eating air. I wound up bringing it all the way down to 120 bar and hammer spring on 13 down from a max of 23. It gave me close to same velocities with the FX 18...

So I have a question, if I want max power I can get from the gun why not just got to 150 bar on regulator and max out the hammer spring and then turn the hammer spring to the lowest setting that still gives the max velocity and use it at that setting?

Ok, thanks for the info. I have it shooting the 18 gr FX pellets at 850 fps it's 500mm barrel the most I can get out of it is 850 . The transfer port is on high , the regulator is on 115 and the hammer spring is on 23 ( high). If I raise the regulator the velocity drops. Can't I take the stock...

I just bought a crown mark 2 in 22 cal. It won't kill a starling at 35 yards. I'm using fx 18 gr pellets. I need a hard hitting tune and FX said they don't provide tunes. I don't understand why they don't provide the bare minimum. It's my first PCP and maybe I expected to much.
