Lot of people don't care for Gamo .But (for the money)their pretty accurate. One of my Backyard target at 55 yards 2 tennis balls suspended by wires.See the deer chewing on one of the balls.:)

After 1/2 century of shooting I have found…….A dirty barrel shoots More accurate than a "clean one"……..

I only do UPPER neck or head shots…..No wasted meat,  no tracking them,  no dealing w/a gut full of blood and stink   (as with  w/a cavity shot),and no dragging them Up-Hill as w/a  dead run downhill  cavity shot 90% of the time……..And if its a miss…its a clean miss.

    sasquatch

Whoever decide to call it "Whisper" should really be fired from GAMO and banned from ever working in the air gun field again. lol…

Speed of sound = 760 MPH (at sea level)

    1,000 FPS = 680 MPH

The heavier the projectile the slow (in FPS) it travels

    177 21 g.  will "quiet it down" >>  https://www.airgunmagazine.co.uk/features/heavy-hitter-177-piledriver-pellet/

They must a changed something. My 'Gamo Whisper Fusion Pro' in 22 isn't excessively  loud, shoot it all day long inside w/o problems, but I'm also shooting 16g plus on pellet weights.
