    Arken Scope

I have two Gen-5's and a Gen4 which is on Challenger pro .22. Others on CF. I think they are a great scope though the 4 is not as clear as the 5. I am lusting for the new EP5 7x56 but haven't sprung for it yet.

    Buy once, cry once.

I bought a Challenger pro .22 as first PCP and for me it was and is a good choice. I first am working through various pellets and slugs shooting at 25 yards for group comparisons trying each one through the range of adjustments on the transfer port. When I finish that project I will turn the...

    My humbling- simple as that!

Yea and verily. I consider myself a vast repository of more or less useless information but acquiring it has been my lifetime passion.

What springer did you shoot today?

Just found an old (07-07) RWS Diana T 05 which I didn't know I had stashed away. I got it out, put a scope on it and was amazed at the trigger. I have not really paid much attention to springers in past. Big mistake on my part. I am shooting it in my shop at about 20 feet into a Detroit Bullet...

    22. vs 25. for long range accuracy

I live in southeast Arkansas, no shortage of deer, no shortage of coyotes, rabbits are scarce due to current agricultural practices. Rats abundant in the corn, bean and ricefields. I suspect that a coyote eats many more rats than anything else as they are plentiful and a no risk prey animal...

help very new to all this and im confused!

I'm sure, that just as in powder burners , bullet placement is everything. One would still need adequate power though. .22 is not legal amost everywhere as it just does not have enough power for ethical use on game as large as deer. If I am not mistaken a .25 is near that level. In Arkansas at...

New, 7000 PSI Compressors from AEA:

I can think of no reason for owning such a monster: says the guy with with three .416 Rigbys a ,416 Remington and and two .375 H&H rifles. It's all about the romance of owning and playing with elephant rifles. They work well on armadillos also. Them critters got tough shells.

Do You Shoot At A "Range"?

Paradise is where you can pee off the front porch and shoot a rifle off the back porch and it is nobody's business but mine.

    Why Did You Join AGN?

I came here seeking information as am new at airguns. Hopefully I will grow to be a person who can help. I have a lot of experience with more conventional rifles, muzzle loaders and antiques but this is all new. I also am impressed at the general "tone" of the group here.

    Garmin Chrono.....first thoughts

As I mentioned elsewhere a retired mechanical engineer shoots with a Bench-rest group I shoot with. He is OCD +++ and bought two Garmen chrono's so that he could compare. He shot 1000 rounds with mixed center-fire and .22 and had agreement between the units within 0.02% If I have the details...

    Chrono

I do bench-rest with centerfire and .22, bought Challenger Pro .22 to help me learn to read wind. I have a Garmen chrono which seems to work very well. A retired mechanical engineer who shoots with us bought two so he could compare. If I have the details straight he shot 1000 rounds of mixed...

    Shot something you shouldn’t???

It happens with centerfire also. One Sunday morning was cooking breakfast and dry-firing a .45 auto. Put clip back in, ran slide and shot towel rack off bathroom wall about 40 feet away.
