I have air leaking around my Umarex Hammer air reservoir (4500 lbs.in the reservoir)Whats the fix?

If I drill the air transfer port out in the receiver of my 357 Bulldog,do have to drill the transfer hole in the barrel too? Pitbull air says I can drill the transfer port hole with a letter M(.295")But doesn't mention anything about drilling the barrel.
