The 48 was my first serious airgun way back in the early 90's. Man, I loved that thing. I have it sitting in storage but hasn't been shot in years. 

I'd also recommend the Leshiy. The .22 will put down rats like nothing. I'd go with the .25 or larger for skunks and raccoons. I live in a fairly urban area on a 10K sq/ft lot and worry about the neighbors. I found mine to be a little loud at stock settings, so I tuned it down to around 630...

Has anyone used a side shot phone mount with any of the MTC Connect scopes? I'm curious if the small amount of eye relief allows for a good sight picture to the eye. Thanks!

Lots of good choice out there. Take a look at the FX Wildact MKII Compact if you can. It's pretty hard to beat as a hunting gun.

So the idea is that you'll lug this separate battery around so you could run the compressor? How many fills do you think you'd get from one charge?
