    Daisy 922

I have parts to reseal your 922. Just ask Detec52. I believe he got his from me..... My seal kit adapts the new style Daisy U'cup seal to toe brass tube guns. I have sole hundreds of kits without a single issue.

Won a Crosman model 1 at auction!

That is a common misconception. The v.1 2200 predated the Model 1 (2280) by 5 years. In later years the 2100W and 2200W were externally identical to the Model 1, w/o the plastic clamshells ahead of the pump arm. Very rare and nice looking versions.

    Daisy 880 Wood Stocks

I know that this is a really old thread, but is there still any interest in wood furniture for the 880 platform guns?

Tuning Daisy 717 Screw-in Valve in Old 880's etc..

Well, the 717 valve is NOT the 880 valve... The stem, or, poppet is the same as in the new 80............the seat in the new 880 is different. I cannot even get it to seal reliably in the old 880. Placing a shim under the C-clip provides for greater opening, but a hole must be ground into the...

Tuning Daisy 717 Screw-in Valve in Old 880's etc..

I went into this at length on another forum. I even directed the seller to my thread. Facts didn't matter to them. I was basically told I was an idiot... The left valve is an old 880 original; the center is the 717 valve as supplied; the fight is the re-shaped 717...IT works..........

Tuning Daisy 717 Screw-in Valve in Old 880's etc..

It is my contention that it WON'T work. People who sell them (not Daisy) swear that they do...... I have found a way to re-shape the plastic nose to resemble the old-style valve and get them to work. I have not been able to reason with the sellers............very frustrating.....

Tuning Daisy 717 Screw-in Valve in Old 880's etc..

Has anyone tried using the currently available Daisy 717 screw-in valve to replace the original in the old metal receiver 880's etc. ?? I cannot get one to work...the poppet is too long. Online sellers claim they work perfectly. Anyone done this??

    Unconventional targets?

Beer bottle caps at 25 yards...flatten the lip and stand on edge on a strip magnet. Decrease the range when replentishing the target supply begins to hinder your accuracy........
