I disagree with the assessment that a pellet expanded to 7.47mm vs one that expanded to 6.86mm wasn’t significant. The pellet that expanded to 6.86mm increased diameter by 25% whereas the other by 36%. The one expanded to about .274” and the other to about .299”, which is significant. 

Quite interesting! Seems it works on a similar principle as Hornady’s Critical Defense ammo. I wonder if it would help if the velocity is low. Thanks for sharing!
