I slugged my G2 .22 barrel. It's not choked. I have had excellent results with FX Hybrid slugs and Daystate Howler slugs. All of the other slugs I've tried are all over the place.

I've tried putting a Magpul MOE on the factory tube. It is too big to get on.

I also use 30w silicone shock oil as an intermediate lube out in the field, especially if they weather is going to go from real humid, to really dry in a short time. Or on really dry, hot days. Just make sure it's %100 silicone.

30w silicone shock oil every 800 shots on my o rings. A drop or two on my hand pump after every use, since I only use it when I have no power source for my compressor.

I had nothing but flyers even after barrel polishing. You might need to smooth out the barrel crown. Mine was uneven and had a few burrs.

The powerplant has a custom higher capacity valve. I had to use the 382 tube to fit it.

For me, it's just learning the characteristics of the certain gun I'm using. I have a .30 Carnivore that kicks like a mule for an airgun. It took me a couple of sessions to get used to it after the break in period. But now I shoot awesome groups. And I DON'T use an artillery hold.
