    70 Year old needs Help!

Minimal effort, minimal cost, accurate and effective enough for house sparrows... the good Doctor nailed it.

Affordable reliable compressor that the air gun market would embrace

I would just want a compressor that isnt a hobby in itself with modifications and such just to keep it running. I was fortunate enough to get one from Jim Shelden when he had the Kidd models and it's been rock solid for me for several years. If it ever does die, I'll likely go with an Alkin...

    Airgun owners vs firearm owners

Fortunate that I can shoot both here at my place without leaving the property. I probably do 70/30 airguns as far as shooting time. Mainly due to the cost/availability of ammo. Basically for me... if it launches a projectile, it interests me. Firearms, ELR, blackpowder, pistols, tactical...

What did you do airgun related today.

Not a lot... but did destroy 2 carpenter bees mid flight with a Barra 400e. That was satisfying. Also tried Premiers out of my Notos. 25 yards, spot on... 40 yards 2 inch groups... next!

    Killer Mice

I always cringe when I see these type videos. Some noob with an under powered airgun trying to take an animal that should require much more gun, but getting a lucky shot. Just frosts my arse to see such blatant disregard for an animal. Tsk, tsk... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Great shot and great...

Kalibrgun Cricket fill probe oring only survives one fill

Reading back through, have you already replaced them and this is what happens each time you fill? Doesnt appear so as looking at the o rings, there is no shearing off of material, and there are large cracks.

Kalibrgun Cricket fill probe oring only survives one fill

Just old and dried out O rings. Replace with fresh and give a little wipe of silicon lube and you should be good to go. I would assume that they were dry and the first fill just broke the camels back when pushing in the fill port.

    Holy Pellets Batman!

@SEBroz it's 10 'meaningful' posts. So just be aware. Certainly your first one was... at the risk of derailing this thread (which I'm sure the OP would be relieved about), check out NOE for a 'JSB Clone' pellet mold in .30. I love mine. While they arent 'quite' as accurate out of my...

Everyone makes mistakes, sir.... Just be glad it's on a forum and not a shooting trip. You'd get your nuts busted the whole trip! haha

The wayback machine is a great tool for looking at snapshots of older web sites. Fun to see now defunct sites and also to check pricing trends.

There were not that cheap 10 years ago. Used the Wayback machine this time and looked 10 years back at Pyramyd. A tin of JSB 16gr was $14.99 then.
