    Straight Shooters

Yes sir. I actually have one in .177 and one in .22, but one of them is missing quite a few pellets. Over the years, I've used it to send 'samples' out to folks to try in their own guns. Back then, I think we tried every pellet to find 'the' one. Nowadays, I'm lazy. If it doesnt shoot JSB's...

Still have a mostly complete SS pellet sampler something in amongst my junk. Loved the 'stats' they had for each of the guns as well. Took a while to compile all that. Great folks to deal with.

    Renewing Classified Ads

As I've noted before, I dont mind it... this is still the most active classifieds around. Most days there is an entire PAGE full of new ads to peruse through. If a particular ad has been listed over and over, I just dont look at it, unless I just need a chuckle. Still not a bad problem...

What is the process to accept payment on classified?

This is key. This place runs a tight ship to avoid common scammers. Sure, some good folks turn bad and some others fall through the cracks, but this place is by far the safest and best place to sell on the net.

    Newbie Budget Suggestions

Another member had recommended CV Life scopes as a good for the money budget option and so I tried one and have to say that it's actually really good for the money. This is the one I grabbed, but imagine the lower powered options are similar quality...

right. Hence my dislike for scopes on pistols. Even EER ones doesnt seem 'right' to me. Anyway, threw out the offer. Will see you at Hickory! Another option for a red dot that may suit you is a Holosun with the ACSS reticle. That reticle has a chevron rather than a dot. Can be very...

ah... I've never been a fan of a scope on a pistol, but some folks love them. Are you going to be at the Hickory show this year? I can send you a spare LPVO to try out if you'd like and you can get it back to me at Hickory. At least could give you an idea on if you'd like to spend your coin...

    red dot type sight

Going to be difficult to impossible to find a 1MOA red dot without spending some serious cash. I would ask what is it about the red dot that you find appealing? Is this on a rifle or a pistol? Reason I ask is that for rifles, I've compromised by using an LPVO. I can keep it set to 1x...

Keeping my .457 Carbine. Does all I need it to do. The Tex Rex would give me nothing other than bragging rights at this point.

    Airforce AF Texan help....

Are you filling from a tank? If so, can you try to give it a quick burst of air opposed to filling slowly to try to seat the tophat?

This has been debated over and over, but wanted to get your opinion on the powder coating. Benefit for air guns? I know folks talk about less lead dust, etc... but that makes zero difference to me. Great looking little pills there, by the way!
