Just pulled this up on Google, I have an older Huntsman Regal with the same issue. The soaking method spoken of here may have some merit, when I was a kid in the mid sixties, I raced " slot cars" at a local track and "wintergreen oil" was what we used to soften up the rear tires...worked...

I'm not a scope guy and not sure what eyebox refers to but I will recommend them...I reailly like mine, I have a .177 standard typr 1 Veteran in route, putting one that also.

Agreed with member Motorhead. I'm the second owner of this Mutant...original owner purchased around 2015 new, never had any issues...I aquired last September and one would be hard pressed to shoot it more than I have since then. Set at 890fps with JSB 18's locked it down and just shoot it...

I never shot it except to test...However I've never saw, or shot a .20 cal that didn't like JSB 13.73s or H&N 11.42's....

Very similar, shorter barrel and air tube...the tube clamps are a little closer to the block...about a half pound lighter...biggest difference is noticeably shorter...feels like you can put it in your pocket!!! Unbelievably accurate with a 350mm barrel....same trigger though!
