Air pistol silhouette - Which pistol scope, red dot or reflex sight?

I thought I’d update this post. I’ve now switched to using a Hawke CF30 4-16x40 Compact scope on my Brocock. It works a reat with the bonus of being able to adjust the objective lense via a side wheel.

Clamp to barrel scope mount adapters

I use the Sun Optics mount on both my 777 and 717. I have a mini red dot mounted onto it and the mount works well.

Anyone familiar with the Record trigger?

If you look carefully at the photo of the trigger in the link provided by Septicdeath you’ll see the silver nut where the rear trigger guard bolt screws into the trigger housing. It is important that the rear trigger guard bolt is tight.

Anyone familiar with the Record trigger?

All the Rekord triggers that I have seen have a small nut placed into the trigger housing that the small bolt screws into.

    Parallax wheel pointer?

That’s a very good idea. I’ll give it a try.

    HW50S carving on stock

In my opinion the new stocks are superior to the earlier ones branded with an M. The checkering is appears to be more pronounced which for me provides better grip for the trigger hand in hot weather. A great improvement.

What would cause poor accuracy in and old bsa meteor

In their day the BSA Meteors were nice lower powered air rifles, suitable for people of all ages. But they are getting old now, and like as not have been pulled apart and fiddled with on more than one occasion. All this tampering can take its toll on the old gals. The good news is that there...

Help! Break barrel accuracy went bad

What you have experienced occasionally happens to me. Each time the problem has been me not the scope or the rifle. Jerking the trigger, ever so slightly moving my face off the check rest, holding the gun too tight and so on and all the sorts of things I do on off days that affect accuracy. ...

What pellet head size does your lothar walther barrel prefer?

I have two air pistols with Lothar Walther barrels. They both prefer 4.50.

    Springer question

Hi Sonny. You are correct in implying there is no need to change springs etc with after market ones. The only time I change my oem spring and seals is when they wear out. Apart from that I prefer to keep my springers factory specs. However I’m pretty sure that there are plenty of people out...

How long to break in Hw50 .22 and do loose pellets hurt a break barrel rifle?

Hi Luckybuckeye. I own a new HW50S but in .177. I use JSB Express in mine. The .22 version might be worth trying in yours. As to break in period I suspect that varies by gun. After a good cleaning of the bore mine shot beautifully straight out of the box.

    FWB Sport .177

Hi. I have owned and shot the new model FWB Sport for about 4 years. It has worked perfectly with no issues whatsoever. It is a very accurate rifle but on the down side the spring is a bit twangy. Also be mindful that it is 19 joules which places it over 12ftlb. Mine is definitely a keeper...

Out with the 30 and in with the HW50S

Given the issues you reported with your 30S I can understand why you opted for the 50. They are a nice rifle and will no doubt give you many years of faithful service. A new shipment of HWs has just reached NZ however as Christmas is almost with us my guess is that we will be lucky if they...

    Help with international shipping!

Apart from air pistols which are a prohibited import there are very few restrictions on importing Airguns into NZ. For pcp rifles a firearms licence and import permit are required, but for springers there are no restrictions. The problem is the USA agencies own interpretation of the NZ rules...
