Yes they are. I bought a refurbished one with an FX hand pump from Pyramid Air around 2002. That was my first pcp and it’s still holding air and very accurate.

Also, you might want to try to increase the speed a little more for that pellet. I’ve had good results in the 900-950 fps range in several different rifles with that weight of pellet.

I put my small SEKHMET gauge in there. Just make sure to use the appropriate size o ring in there and you’ll be good to go.

Hajimoto has some videos out to adjust those regulators. If you’re going to use that one, he can help you.

When you’re ready to do the deed, open the door enough to shoot through a few hours before hand. just Have to think outside the box with these guys sometimes.

Or just buy an Eastern European gun.

A good scrubbing and a borescope will maybe help. Be careful though, I made the mistake of running a borescope down 3 of my .25 STX liners. What I found in my liners should be embarrassing for FX to have their name on.

Sounds like you are over hammering the valve above 3. Screw the hammer screw most of the way in and do your quarter turn out, but set it on setting 7 each time you check the velocity. With 115 bar regulator pressure, those pellets should be going supersonic pretty easily.

Now, if someone could figure out how to get a reg gauge on them, that would be really cool.

Make sure you keep an eye on the lead gathering in the liner. My most recent 3 .25 liners have a lot of voids in the steel that I found with a bore scope. Not apparent on the outside, but the inside looks like crap and they tend to grab lead like crazy. Like maybe FX got some bad steel from the...

That right there is about what I’m looking to do with the Wildcat. Great looking work.

I would love to test a .25 in my Wildcat. The liner in it is full of voids from poor quality steel. FX should be embarrassed to have their name on this one.

Coyotes are still an option now. 😉
