    FX Wildcat .25

    Tripods rock! I first tried a pig saddle and felt that it had too much play. It was also heavy. I love the quick release plate attaching to a ball head......it's easy to move and then lock down tight in a second.

    FX Wildcat or Crown?

    If you would like the option of attaching a quick release plate to the stock so that the rifle can be rapidly mounted to a ballhead/tripod set up, the Crown stock might be a problem. Here is my set up, and you can see how well the shape of the .25 Wildcat stock works well for this purpose.
