Fishing for compressor advice / knowledge

Peashooter, those are good pics, thanks for posting them. It's interesting that Tuxing sent drawings. I bought one of these four cylinder units last July but before doing so I asked the manufacturer for drawings and bella@sbtechen responded saying "we are not allowed to send schematic...

TUXING 4500Psi 300Bar High Pressure Diving Compressor

There is no parts diagram for these units, I asked for one and was told "we don't give them out". The next best thing is to use a Coltri MCH6 manual. Here's contact info for the manufacturer...... Email: [email protected] Skype: +86 180 3016 7097 Phone/...

Show em - Single stroke/Pump Pneumatics, the more exotic the better!

Here's something I designed and fabricated in '09 that was originally posted on the old Yellow Forum. It's a single stroke with a twist.......a displacer piston. Briefly........ 11.8 lb with scope max stroke 11.2" max force required 39 lb power is varied by changing the stroke...

new Crosman 19.0 gr 22 caliber pellets

I bought some of these in Feb 2018 to try, was curious if the advantage of extra weight could overcome the less-than-ideal nose shape. They grouped reasonably well at 50-60 yd but the associated velocity loss ruined it for me. The remainder were put on the shelf and forgot about. Matthias...

Coltri MCH 6 Owners, get in here, this thread is for you!!

"......they are going to put that bad part right back onto their stock shelf ......." such a sad state of affairs. I'm surprised the small end of the connecting rod wasn't damaged. Ron

    Best Compressor under $2,000

I have been using that same setup since air compressed to 120-130 psi has lost approximately 90% of the water content. Makes life easier for the high pressure unit and any moisture filters.

    Let's talk radar chronographs

You can trigger the unit manually. In settings, select trigger mode, then select doppler. The transmitter can now be turned on and off with the "arm" button. This scheme also works when controlling the unit with a cell phone or tablet.

    Old Bushnell scope line hierarchy?

I'll second that. The 4200's and the BL 4000's were much better optically than 6500 models. Have first hand experience with all three.

Other How often do regulators need rebuilding?

O-rings will deteriorate over a period of time when subject to constant stress (thru pressure differential). They gradually lose pliability, eventually become brittle and no longer seal reliably. I have removed very old rings (8-10 yr) that actually came out in pieces........looked like...

A few images (720p) taken with Teslong model TSNTG100 of a Walther .22 blank. Pics 1 and 2 show the rifling with a small illumination adjustment. Pic 3 is with the mirror rotated relative to the camera. Pic 4 shows the crown area. Hope this helps. Ron
