Amen to that, Joe! Got over all that laudatory mess decades ago when messing with powder burners.  There are some really nice guns available, but for sure nothing is perfect, and most things are better than another only incrementally, and usually only for certain aspects. I will be sure to inform all of you when I do find that perfect air rifle!

Why do I feel June may be an expensive month?

Just went to the AA classifieds, did not see ad from JimE. Have purchased several airguns from him over the years. Might be interested in a 300 mini, but am kinda airgun poor at the moment.

I have to assume that you mean .005 mm. .005 inches would yield pellets unsuitable for most uses.

Hepotter, I believe Stoti is in Northern California…. but don't hold that against him ;)

I don't give a rat's ass if he's LBGTQ, Democrat, Sex Offender, Serial Killer, or even…even…an attorney!!!    That's right…I'll go to ANY lengths to get a better stock for my Taipan Veteran…!!!!

That's right!  It's time I came out of the closet…I am "Kindy 'Ol Uncle Hoot" from the Talon forum….brace yourselves…some people say I'm "out-spoken".

“Outspoken”? The last time I was referred that way was because the speaker was too kind to use profanity. Thanks for reminding me I haven’t been on the Talon forum in far too long.

Wow! That’s impressive for sure! Certainly warms my heart at this cold time of year.. I’ve always felt the airgun community is full of great guys, and this just reinforces that feeling.

Do you know what he likes to shoot? Not sure if I can help, but willing to try if I can.

Glad to hear Yrrah is doing OK. I was just thinking a couple of daysago that it had been some time since I’d seen a post by him. I hope he’s still getting some quality shooting time in.

Like the other poster above, I highly recommend going to an airgun show. There are often great bargains to be had. With the general nature of shows, bargains will vary as will the selection. Never the same ones twice. I missed out on a couple at the past Hickory show, due to having to be on a different schedule than the one I usually adopt for shows.

If there’s something in particular you have decided on, you can always post a wanted ad. It’s likely that someone here has what you want and may be willing to sell at a favorable price. If you’re more flexible, a show is likely to be your best bet, esp. if you live fairly nearby. Even if you don’t find what you want, a day talking to the exhibitors can expand your knowledge substantially.

Oh, man! WHEN your wife finds out, and believe me she will, you’ll be on the hook for a pair of diamond earrings, at least. Better save all receipts for everything so you can at least argue that what you bought costs less than what she wants. Good luck to you. Many of us have been in similar situations.

It’s a great show, please join us! Turn-out has been very good, both for the public and “the usual suspects”(you know who you are). Always glad to meet fellow airgunners, and to swap stories and guns.

Just checked Krale Schietsport in the Netherlands. They do not have any Crowns in .177in any variation. They would have been my best guess for one in .177. You can get an Impact in .177, if that appeals to you.

I have one in .22 and think it’s a great rifle.  Tell you what, buy the one you’re looking at for that great price, then if you don’t like it I’ll be interested in taking it off your hands. I wouldn’t mind having a pair.

As a related question, has anyone heard from Bruce lately? Hasn’t been anything on his FB page, and he hasn’t listed a compressor on Ebay for some time. He used to have stuff listed regularly.

Glad to hear the good news. I’m sure it’s quite a relief. I hope your diet will go well, too. Maybe we’ll meet again at another show.
