There is another option for a forward cocking lever on the market. i guess the saying ….."Necessity is the mother of invention" is true!

    very simple and clever design.

Also this may clear some misunderstanding regarding  Taipan production.

The CZ on the new ones don't mean CZ barrel, there now made in Czech republic instead of Ukraine. But the .25s don't have a CZ barrel.

I however am waiting for them to bring in the .177 long versions

Just found a thread on that site and it looks they were offering the CZ but they stop, check the answer number 6 at the bottom of the page

Hahah that was me asking the question a while back :)

the CZ logo engraved on the action is for Ch Republic, the first 25 cal Crickets had the CZ barrels, the new ones come with the LW barrels now

I got the 25 long, very accurate rifle.

CZ makes the barrels for the 22 cal and  Lothar Walter makes the barrels for the 25cal, which are as good as the CZs.

The know your limits target is awesome, my friend Rick made most of the metal targets for Utah Airguns   Indoor shooting range and the RMAC, he sent me this one a while back, one of the first ones he built.

I was going to buy the JSAR Raptor in 25 but the lack of information from the manufacturer made my decision easier and pull the trigger on the Veteran 25 long, I can’t wait to see real numbers on this gun.

If you don’t mind getting a used gun, I will get a 25 cal Cricket. A tack driver, reliable and easy to work on. The FX Royal is great too, but I haven’t seen one for sale in a long time in the classifieds.

CC I think is just gunk in the barrel, like you said the owner shot it only 10 times, that’s a new gun to me. Sometimes they ship them like that, when they come overseas to prevent rust. My Edgun had some of it.

I use patchworn for all my airguns and ballistol, great combo for cleaning barrels!

I don’t know if this is the best gun, but i know it’s one hell of gun! this are two 5 shot/group @ 100 yards new right out of the box.

Top group is with the heavies, the bottom group is with the mk2s, as you can see I’ll be ordering more mk2s ;)

"To me" what it makes a gun to be the best are two things, Reliability and Accuracy!  dont really care for looks or all those bells & whistles, what good is that if you gonna be spending more time fixing it rather than shooting it  ;)

I just moved into a new house my caliper still somewhere in my garage in a box :(

here are a few pics of the two probes, the one on the left with the black male quick-disconnect came with my shorty,

the one on the right came with 25long, you can see the probe for the 25 long has a slight smaller hole compare to the shorty’s probe.

also there is a small difference on the ends of the probes.

I’m pretty sure with a fine tuning the groups can improve a bit more, next time I’ll try the kings!
