My friend has my old M3 but has decided to use the 700mm sup heavy liner instead of the superior liner that i used, i found that superior liner to shoot alot of heavy slugs very well and he said i can have it back once my M4 arrives.

Lucky for me me when i replaced the oring and re-pressurised the M3, nothing went wrong, its been several hours now and no loss of pressure so all good.

So i copied what someone on this forum did and i placed one of those round little pastey stickers that you get with the shoot and see targets, i placed it over the end of the valve in the magazine port on the M3, i fired a shot and off it came, so i will now change this oring.

I replaced the breech oring and the two orings on the barrel already, as far as i can tell from looking on YouTube, the only other places to look at are the valve rod oring, i will replace it and see what happens.

After a little more research i think it may well be the small oring on the end of the valve rod, seems to be a common occurrence so i will order a new one in the morning along with a few others.

Lovely airgun, my late father bought me one for my 16th birthday in 1995, a .22 sub 12 model, i really regret swapping it for a 12 bore over and under a few years later! Idiot move.

Since upping the first reg pressure so far so good the second reg refilling quicker now ,i have thought of fitting a gen 3 huma reg to replace the M3 s second reg but i want to see how things fair with this increased pressure .

So i upped the front reg pressure to 190 bar and the second reg to 160 and now its working wonderfully! Quick plenum refills and the consistancy is straight away better, i took it out at 100 yards and it was grouping well under a inch so all good.

When you say bypassed, do you mean you removed it entirely?

I will look tonight as i have not actually took it apart yet but my first port of call will be turning the first reg up.
