That one is nice. The ADM was $129 versus the Tier One at $224. Curious though, reading one of the reviews for the Tier One, one customer says it doesn't fit the 635R.

ADM just released their cantilever QD mount specifically made for the DNT Optics. It's being sold at Custom Night Vision. Looks good and I like that it's 1.54" height instead of the ADM 170S that I have now, which is too low. I'm gonna order one and try it out.

True, but in the centerfire world with custom barrel makers, some do have tighter chambers and tolerances for those that custom load their own ammo. Some cartridges have the bullet seated deeper and some less than others.

I would simply put it as every manufacturer has their own build specifications. Same as with clothing, shoes, etc. Not all sizes fit the same. In simple terms, lead is softer than steel. The projectile will go through the barrel, but if there is too much resistance, it's probably gonna affect...
