Yeah, eye protection should be mandatory. A dive buddy that worked the same dive shop that I did once attached a low pressure hose (350psi max) to a high pressure port on a regulator and got spanked VERY hard on his lower arm when it failed. He never did that a second time… yet.

Probably doable since a ton of youtubers in the powder burner sector wear tactical helmets, plate carriers and othe tacticool stuff to shoot an AR. YMMV 😂😂

I went through a whole lot of PCP’s in past two or so years. If I knew then what I know now I would buy an American Air Arms .25 or .22 Evol. Expensive for a lot of folks budget, don’t know what yours is, but it’s a buy once cry once. Gun is built like a tank.

Your post says an 88cc tank. If you’re losing any air while connecting any fitting I think it could easily drop 500psi. But if you meant 88CF then there’s a gauge problem somewhere, or as stated, pressure drop from cooling down of air.

That’s cool. You were very fortunate to get that angle for the kill shot. I know, in my experience, you rarely get that opportunity when the critter lines up just right and the crosshairs are on the right spot. Well done.

Ruger RPR Rimfire and any 22 suppressor in the $250 range and it’s money well spent. Ask me how I know.
