Regulator Installation & Results - Air Arms S510 (Pictures)

Hi Matt In your previous post about a comparison between the wolverine B type vs the air arms ultimate sporter you seem to have very different chrony data. In that post you get 29 shots with the ultimate sporter from 190-150 bar. In this post only about 21. Also the bell curve is ar a different...

Regulator Installation & Results - Air Arms S510 (Pictures)

Hi Matt nice documentation! I'd say just put the reg pressure at 120 bar and be done with it! At that pressure you'd be at 900 fps with the 18 grain jsb's and propably get around 55-60 shots from a 250 bar fill.

    Ballistic Coefficient

I have seen GA bc numbers of around 0.042 for these pellets. Maybe some one with a chrony can get you more accurate numbers. regards Robin

Heavy and light JSB .25 cal pellets comparative ballistic drag coefficients.

Hello Harry, When I run your labradar numbers through chairgun and adjust for your altitude I get bc numbers that are a bit lower. Edit: just noticed you must have used the G1 drag function. 0.0475 for the King heavy out to 75 yards with a muzzle velocity of 781 fps 0.032 for the normal...

RAW HM 1000x .25 or .30 for 100 yards and beyond?

If the new jsb king heavy's are accurate in the rifle you have ordered that would be real nice. They seem to have a bc of around 0.054 and the jsb .30 44 grainers a bc of around 0.042 This meas that at some point down range the .25 is more powerfull then the .30! Just ordered 600 jsb heavy's...

Heavy JSB Kings ... will they match the Kings at 200+ yards. 7 groups at 202 yd.

Really impressive bc figures. But are they accurate? Really curious about that.

    Range Cards vs Ballistic Calculators

Ah that must be it, I'm using the free version of strelok

    Range Cards vs Ballistic Calculators

I was wondering, in chairgun you can select a cd curve especially for diabolo pellets.(default setting I believe) In strelok you can only select the g1 curve. I found during real life testing with a chrony that the cd curve used in chairgun is more accurate. (.25 cal jsb's @ 890 fps) anyone else...

When you add something to the end of a barrel you change the harmonics... so it is normal to have a change in your poi.

    SWFA abroad/exportation

Hi You can try: http://www.airgunexporter.com/ Thinking about importing a SWFA ss 10x42 or 12x42 for my bullpup and propably will use airgunexporter to do so. Good luck making up your mind!

FX Impact and WildCat bipod mounting [PHOTOS]

The Impact is fully user adjustable. You propably could find a setting at which the rifle will shoot close to 40 ft-lb. But why? since the smooth twist barrel only shoots JSB pellets well. For 40 ft-lb with the JSB heavy's you would have to shoot them at a 1000 fps. That won't do the accuracy...

Daystate Wolverine B Chrony Testing and Comparison - The Data Speaks!

NERD alert: Regarding the Wolverine using less air per shot because of it operating at a higher pressure level I did some math and came up with the following: Wolverine: 500 cc bottle. 84 shots use 60 bar: 500cc x 60 = 30 Liters of air used. 30 / 84 = 0.357 Liters of air per shot. S510: 287 cc...

Daystate Wolverine B Chrony Testing and Comparison - The Data Speaks!

http://huma-air.com/regulators/air-arms/air-arm-s4xx-s5xx/ Hi Matt I use a HuMa air regulator in my rifle. Really happy with it. They also seem to make a regulator for the air arms s510. Don' t know if it wilI fit your particular model. Shoot them a email the're always quick to respond.

    FX Wildcat .25 Thoughts

First time I notice the black impact on the bottom is longer than the silver one. The black one must be a .25 or .30 cal? To CAAirgunner: Wish I was in the position to buy any of these fx airguns when I was 13! I'd get the wildcat in .22 cal To save some money you could keep your hill mk3...

Daystate Wolverine B Chrony Testing and Comparison - The Data Speaks!

Btw I don't know if it is even possible to add a regulator to a bottle gun like the daystate. Just saying that in theory it could get a lot more shots per fill by using more of the available air in the cylinder. Thats why I'm really curious about the fx impact specs. In .22 cal you could set...
