I put a reg in a non reg 400 and found that the valve seat and pin are different for each one. Non reg came with smaller valve seat and pin. pin # 7015 seat #7044. Reg guns came with #19060 seat and pin # 7019. I got them from Utaha air guns.

Not sure but i think you can convert a 400 .22 to a 500 .25 . Not till you get into the .30 boss that things arent compatable.
