There may not be an issue, the shooter barrel will require a high reg pressure to achieve the same speed. The pressure at the end of the 300mm barrel will be higher than the 700mm barrel. That will cause the high noise level. The high reg will waste more air with the shorter barrel. Have you...

Yes, with the chrono too close to the barrel.

Overdriveing the valve can cause damage, more so at lower reg pressures (just my 2 cents)

I am using the Original Pocket Chrono option, haven't tried the Archery option

I set it up in the basement and used my PP700 shooting 22cal. Predator GTOs. It worked!! It didn't pickup every shot, but I wasn't holding the pistol exactly the same each time. Too close to the top of the chrono seemed to cause the most missed readings. 👍
