May 2025 ... SVFTC Match Report

Fun match Scott. Thanks for all you do putting them on. I'm gonna get my 15-18 yd. dope right, we're gonna slow the music and you and I are gonna dance a lot closer with pistols next time, so shine your shoes, lol!

    HW/Weihrauch I LOVE my HW30!

Nice shooting. Gotta love a 30, right? It took me many years to outgrow my magnum mania and discover the pleasure of shooting low power springers (thanks MDriskill). Now I hardly touch my R1's.

    bruh.. such a long wait

No doubt some sellers want something extra for their time and effort to package and mail (that's the "H" in "S&H"). I see air guns offered for sale within a few states of one another yet sellers list shipping anywhere from $25 to $100 to my home state. How does that figure? Always check the...

    N/A Wall hangers?

Very nice collection you have. Love the sporterized FWBs. I live in California. I don't call mine wall hangers, I call mine safe standers or safe queens because they're locked up all the time. Like you, I get around to shooting each one sooner or later, usually much later. Wish I had a vault...

Beeman How often do you pay an inflated price for a rifle or don't make such purchases at all, only buy good deals?

The problem with a good deal is sometimes you buy because it's a good deal and not because you really wanted the item. Afterwards you wish you hadn't bought it. I have a few of those. I've also over paid a few times because I really wanted something and I never had buyer's remorse...

    Field Target Pistol

I got a real 1720T from camsprecisionairguns with Cameron's proprietary mods and I can attest to the accuracy potential of this platform. Mine is as accurate as any air gun I own within the 35 yard max distance for pistol FT.

    FWB Found a gem.

Crow, the accessories MDriskill showed you include that little bipod that secures nicely to the accessory rail under the FWB300S fore arm. I have several and used one on my 300S when I shot silhouette competition. They're really nice to set your 300 down on, keeping the gun vertical rather...

    FWB Found a gem.

Crow, tell the seller you'll find a rear sight iris yourself, ask the seller to compensate you whatever the two of you think is a fair amount and buy yourself a Gehmann 510 described above. I bought one and really like it. I also got carried away and wanted some more bling so bought a...

    Other Today's pawnshop finds

Nice. I'm guessing the internet makes pawn shop bargains hard to come by anymore.

    The range

Wow! You have an air gun for every spinner and a spinner for every air gun, lol. Love it.

Where theres a need is there a product ?

Someone else suggested felt cleaning pellets. I never thought of those. load one felt pellet then pour some #12 down the bore. As long as you keep the gun pointed up you're fine, otherwise load a second felt pellet on top of the bird shot from the muzzle with a cleaning rod. A powerful .22...

Where theres a need is there a product ?

Better yet is a badminton racket. Much lighter and nimbler than a tennis racket...you can swat three times as fast with it. We keep one on hand camping for yellow jackets around the table, on the boat and in the duck blind for those big nasty wasps that nest in the bamboo. It's pretty...

Where theres a need is there a product ?

A wrist rocket sling shot with a pinch of bird shot is super easy and shouldn't alarm neighbors if they see you shooting up into the air. I actually killed a few birds with one using #8 shot when I was a kid. Bird shot comes in 25 lb. bags and costs $70 each or 11 lb. bags on line for $48...

    N/A Gimme a Brake

You got some skills, man! Great looking, can't wait to see it finished. I'd love to be able to make stocks but the inletting has be totally befuddled.
