I'm right there with you on the maintaining consistency thinking. All these new pellet producers are punching out pellets with all new equipment and dies so it stands to reason that they have good uniformity now. What remains to be seen is how they handle their dies wearing out. Time will tell.

There is a lot of .30's out there, just limiting to 100fpe would seem to be sufficient, wouldn't it? Just curious.

I would look for a used bullpup because you are going to want at least a 28"/700mm barrel and you don't want that length barrel on a regular gun. You are going to want it to be regulated so that you can set the reg high and get a quick blast of air. Without a shroud or suppressor I don't see...
