Can you take the muzzle brake off a Stormrider

Yes, I've done it with both of mine. I used a heat gun on the threads and it came loose without issues.

    Aluminum airgun barrels

2024 T3 is BR120. That's way below the bottom of the RC scale. RC15 is like BR200, if I recall. Maybe you meant RB73?

    Tuning the Diana outlaw 25.

I am using the oem reg and have it shooting 25.39gr JSBs at 850 fps. Gives me just under 41 ft-lbs. I don't remember how many shots I get, but i think its somewhere between 3 and 4 mags. The oem reg is good, but "twitchy" to adjust. By that I mean that very slight adjustments make big changes...

    Diana Stormrider Fill Probe Alternative

The Diana Outlaw (or Artemis M16 or mrodair version) uses the same probe.

    Stormrider Gen II

Oldspook, Have you tried groups without the second barrel band installed ? I've read that some people were having issues with it because the first band can press the barrel downward slightly which means that the second more forward band ends up bending the barrel back upward slightly. Mine...

    Stormrider Gen II

Hey Oldspook, how did you remove the moderator? I was afraid that it's been epoxied on and haven't tried yet - but I'd like to take a look at the crown on my SRs as well.

    Stormrider Gen II

Hey, I had the same issue of the red part of the reg being 180 degrees off! Took me quite a few shot strings to figure it out as well. Funny thing is I bought two regs, one in 22 and one in 177, and the 177 reg was off but the 22 was fine. Here is the 177 shot string now , which I am happy with...

    Diana Stormrider Gen 2

Following. The BF price was too much to resist for me as well. I picked up one each, in .177 and .22 and regulators for each. Still playing with them both at this point, but I have the 177 reg set at 130bar and the 22 at about 145 according to the markings.

    Ruger Impact Max

Hi Ryan, from the Jones Spring catalog, I use spring 154-C, the oem spring is something like the 156-C and a super light spring would be something like 157-C. I bought them in an assortment off Amazon for about $11, but you can go to the Jones Spring website (or maybe Grainger or McMaster) and...

    Diana Outlaw

I have the .25 Outlaw shooting 43 ft-lbs. JSB 25.39s going at 870 fps for 30 shots with an ES of less than 10 fps over the entire string. However, the SPA barrel is so-so. A pellet starts tight for the first few inches then there's basically no friction until the last 3-4" when it tightens up...

Yong Heng 1st stage inlet air pressure

Klripper, it's up to you, but I just use 5psi input to mine. If you go with 15psi (so 30 psi total), you'll have 300psi at the output of the first stage because the first stage compression is 10:1. Feel free to read through the thread I linked above where I did some experimentation on using the...

Yong Heng 1st stage inlet air pressure

I have done some experimenting with this and typically boost my inlet pressure using dry air at 5 psia. The 1st stage is a 10:1 compression, so I wouldn't feed it much more than 10psia as a boost. I tried up to 20 psia then got scared to go any higher. When the inlet pressure is 1 atmosphere as...
