A whole new concept for me. 16gr 177 pellets out of breakbarrel

Yea, you're right. I tried to re-order from several places and everybody was out of stock. Too bad as if I had known I would have ordered a lot more. Same with the Exact Beast Diablo. I hope they are not discontinued.

    Slugs in Break Barrels

Well then the Exact Beast Diablo 177 and the H&R Sniper Magnum 177 must be both Slugs then with smaller diameter heads.

    Slugs in Break Barrels

OH... FORGOT to add, a huge added plus with these heavy pellets is that my rifle is now shooting sub sonic and it is much much less noisy for inner city activity..

    Slugs in Break Barrels

I assume the definition of "SLUG" to be the way heavier than normal for caliber pellets. I shoot .177 cal break barrels and for some who think the power isnt there..... power is not the problem but rather many of the extra heavy pellets are microscopically larger in diameter and results in...

A whole new concept for me. 16gr 177 pellets out of breakbarrel

I live in the city and have what you would call a magnum break barrel 177 rifle. The problem was it is too loud and is too easily detected by neighbors when shooting the regular lighter pellets. Just for grins I bought several different kinds of very heavy 177 pellets and that dropped the...

Long Range 125 to 150 yd shooting with .177 Springer and 16.2gr pellets

quote: I used to shoot very heavy pellets in my Diana 48. I was told that the heavier pellets might add too much stress to the spring, seals, etc. /////////////////// I have a fifteen year old cheap Daisy/Winchester break barrel 177 beater air gun that I squirt a few drops of oil into...

Long Range 125 to 150 yd shooting with .177 Springer and 16.2gr pellets

These super heavy 16.2 grain pellets have a pretty aerodynamic shape and I would not be surprised if they did not have a better Ballistic Coefficient than any pellets in the larger caliber sizes of .22 or 25 etc. This would explain their superior long range trajectories..... and clearly at...

Long Range 125 to 150 yd shooting with .177 Springer and 16.2gr pellets

I happen to shoot very heavy 177 pellets and the two heavy pellets that I found to be on the smaller size and fit easily into my RWS 48 Springer are the 16.2gr Exact Beast Diablo and the H&N Sport "Sniper Magnum of 15gr each. Yes I am sure .177 cal. I am shooting at soccer ball size...

Chamber is too tight to seat pellets – What do I do?!

I had the same problem and what I did was try different brand and model of pellets and I found some are smaller than others and fit easily into my chamber. I happen to shoot .177 but I bet there are microscopic differences in the sizes of various 22 cal pellets. FYI, I happen to shoot very...
