I don't recall exactly but it would depend on if you are running it in high or lower power. I expect it's good for at least 5 mags..so 60 + shots on the lower power which still zips those pellets out over 900 fps.

Anything I have ever tried with the GAMO name on it has been horrid. Apparently I, a slow learner though as I keep trying those pellets in new guns that come through with hopes that they actually work in one.

I want to have the ability to use it on powder burners as well so a 150 m range would be somewhat limiting for coyotes and wolves at night

Does anyone have details regarding the max effective (accurate) range of the rangefinder body on this?

The same argument could be made for the 22 cal using bullets of comparable weight to the standard 25 cal pellets.

I actually intended to try just this when I get my hands on an impact in 25 cal. I want to use Diablo pellets on the lighter end then be able to switch to max power and push 25 cal bullets with hopes of achieving comparable performance to a 30 cal impact. Theory being that the 25 cal bullet...

I'm in the same boat here and was looking at the viper. That said with the difference in range offered by the "wolf" model it may well be worth jumping up to the 300 yd capability. I would like to hear from owners on this as I am always sceptical of advertised effective ranges of products...
