Brocock/BRK An actual..."carbine", NOT, a shoulder stocked pistol

That's cool to see, thanks for posting that up. I have an un-shortened XR sahara in .22 with a red dot that I love to shoot steel with. Very fast follow up shots, but it's just a little too heavy for off hand. I bet your set up is perfect though. How many shots are you getting with the 300cc...

Winters' Winds - the ultimate master of the cold pellets fate

Cold and windy are a bad combination. I'm lucky to have very little wind over winter, so temps in the 30's to 40's are not so bad when the sun is out, which is most of the time. When it's warmer, then shooting the breeze can be fun with CPHP pellets. They're cheap, so missing doesn't matter...

    Satisfying cheapie target.

The AR500 steel gongs are hardened and will not deform or pit when shot. It's the concave dents or pits that happen in thin soft steels that create a concave shape that can sent the pellet right back at you. It's one of the reasons that it's not recommended to shoot mild steel gongs (with a...

    Satisfying cheapie target.

I tried something similar a few years back, but I found that the spoons could sometimes send the pellets right back at you. At the very least I would turn that target around and shoot at the convex side (back) of the spoons. But it still doesn't take much to deform the spoons and the next...

    WOW! ST7 Targets are 🤯 🇺🇸 💪

I've bought around 100 gongs from ST7. They had some killer deals going around x-mas last year, it was impossible to resist. I'm lucky enough to have a range on my property and I leave this stuff sitting out in the weather 24/7. It's held up great (airgun and rim-fire), no rust! Shooting...

N/A CF Tank purchase advise needed! should i get the 700cc bottle plus the 6.8l tank or just the bottle and refill from car battery or maybe get 2x 700cc?

Yeah, unless you need something small and light for hunting / hiking in the woods, you'd be better off with the bigger tank. I imagine that .30 cal goes through a lot of air.

It all comes down your gun's air requirements and shot count, when you go to the range. If that 700cc bottle on your gun only gives you 30-40 shots and you like to shoot 300 rounds every time you go to the range, then you'll want a large tank. Pumping up the gun with a compressor every 30-40...

    Is my scope broken?

I've run into this problem before (different rifle and scope) and shimmed the rear scope mount with some aluminum can, but I had felt the scope adjustment hit the physical limits of it's vertical adjust ability. In other words I hit a hard stop on the turret. Not so with this scope, it still...

    Is my scope broken?

No. I didn't realize this was necessary. Does the clamping force from the scope rings hinder the range of adjustment or something? I always just snug up the rings, I don't clamp them down or anything.

    Is my scope broken?

Thanks for the help guys. The rifle is a band new Brocock Sniper XR in .22 cal. The rings are just something cheap from amazon (UTG IIRC) and the scope is a 12 year old Simmons Whitetail 6.5-20x50 that I've owned since new. It's only ever been mounted on <30 fpe PCP's. I do understand the...

    Is my scope broken?

When trying to change my POI upwards, the elevation turret clicks, but nothing happens - if anything the POI goes down. Looking through the scope when making the adjustments, I can see the crosshairs move up and down in the lower part of it's adjustment, but then gets to the point where it is...

Brocock/BRK New rifle came with 300cc bottle, not the advertised 480cc!

I guess that noise is normal then. 40% more efficient they say.

Brocock/BRK New rifle came with 300cc bottle, not the advertised 480cc!

Well, my lucky streak just keeps going. Now I'm getting a "loose stuff "sound, originating from under the cocking lever. It sounds like a bunch of washers or discs sliding around inside a tube for a couple of mm. Happens when I point the rifle at the ground and then turn it upwards to face the...

Brocock/BRK New rifle came with 300cc bottle, not the advertised 480cc!

Also a quick update. I called the store and they were as confused/surprised as I am about it. They wanted photos and said they would call the distributor. They said not to worry, they would take care of me! (y)(y)

Brocock/BRK New rifle came with 300cc bottle, not the advertised 480cc!

I'm still getting used to it. I've shot a few dime sized groups at 56 yards, but I also shot some 1.5-2" groups at the same distance... all with the FX/JSB 15.9g pellets. Gonna try some 25g FX/JSB's and the venerable CPHP's. I haven't adjusted the trigger at all, but it doesn't feel like...
