I have both in .22. I use the 550 in tight spaces and in a lot of brush and out the truck window. I use the 700 when I’m hunting with a tripod and not moving much and most of the shots are 100* yards.

I shoot the AVS 61 VUL slugs in my Vulcan 3 700 and nothing else. It is more accurate at any distance than I can shoot. I’m shooting at 103 fpe. The AVS slugs are .3063 cup base that were made just for that gun.

I have an Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 HD 6-24x50 on my P3 and I easily shoot pests past 150 yards with it. I have the .25 RPB in it shooting 30.2g AEA slugs. I have the MOA version on mine but the MIL version has a reticle you will probably like.
