Another vote for the Regal XL, just got one in .22 as a gift for my dad, beautifull rifle with classic lines, very well made, pellet on pellet accuracy at 30yds, you wont get a better rifle for under $1K

Jimmy if you opt for another SIII in the 32X range have you local Sightron dealer source it from Sightron's custom shop, they can adjust the parallax down to about 20-25yds on the SIII 8-32X, thats what I did with mine, it only took about an extra week to get the work done. Regards Carlos

I have the exact same rings on my .30cal HM1000X that has a Sightron SIII on it. Great to have the extra MOA adjustment especially if you plan to shoot at 150yds+.
