Dude... you inspired me. 20 minutes ago at 25 yards, out my back door with CPHP at about 850 fps. The perfect shot, face plant with tail twitching in the air.

It sure is fun when the range comes to life, I get excited every time a chuck makes an appearance. I've bagged eight this year with my Avenger, I picked a good year to go PCP. Found this skull early spring and stuck it up over the dream catcher... coincidence?

Great question.... one inch groups at 50 yards with 14.3 CPD and .75 inch with AA 16 grain. The crosman pellets look the worst when pushed through the breach and I want to clean that up. For the most part I love how this gun shoots (8 groundhogs, one raccoon and about 15 starlings since...

The JB with the drill was very little only within those first two inches. When inspecting in the sun I found no swirls or scratches, all of the rifling looks fine.

Guys... I know this is a cheap Chinese barrel, I'm not taking it to the Olympics. I just want to remove the burs at the breach and push a pellet through that don't look like my cat chewed on it. Once again, thanks for the help.

I have a .22 Avenger barrel that is very rough where the rifling begins at the breach. I did polish and recrown and pushed several pellets by hand, the first 2.5 inches of the rifling are rather tight as well. I polished with a bore mop and JB and put a lot of extra effort in the tight spot...

I'm sorry you feel that way sir. I give thanks to God for allowing my girl to be here with me. The alternative is tucked away in some facility being half way taken care of by strangers. My tether may be short but I wouldn't have it any other way.
