177 liners FX are touch and go. One thing you can do is get an 60 cm lightweight barrel kit. Try it out and when good ya have lucky day….. if not buy an 700 177 liner, cut 5 cm of both ends true both ends on a lathe and machine little ring again on breech side change it out with your 600 liner...

I have found that most liners are “thight” in the breech , I ream the breech to size ,but the next one I gonna cut on both sides. I am aware of the little groove and will groove the breech again accordingly. I take my Crown Continiuum to the range tomorrow. Do some more testing with my Alfa 177...

Did you cut 10 cm of the front of the liner or 5 cm both sides? Good to see that cutting the choke had a good effect.

Haven’t checked Krale but will look. Both liners where standard and had an pretty heavy choke. Have a hint of choke left. Also found that most FX have something like a choke in the breech side. Get an brass rod , 4 mm, long enough to push an slug trough the liner and you will see what I mean...

I have 2 old 177 liners, .177/700 FX, reworked to 670 mm. Removed the choke and reamed the breech to ‘ liner inside ‘size. They shoot the 20 gr Zan at 940 like a lazer. The 20 gr H&N does well to but Zan is better. Also fitted an Alfa 1/38cm twist 670 mm L which does the 16 gr very well At 960...

Have shot quite a few tins of pellets and slugs in .25 and .22. No problem whatsoever. I have some other rifles to and with them I did and do have some issue’s with magazines. They have now single shot loaders. I am very impressed by the construction of the Epic magazines and like them.

I have ordered an LW .22 550 barrel kit early this month. And an 177 LW kit in 700 , if available, if not an 550 later on.

The now new made Vulcan 3 has an CZub barrel. Alfa barrel’s are to hard to come by, cause of some issues in central Europe…..I have an early Vulcan 3 700 in .22 with an Alfa barrel which I like very much.
