Today I did some more pellet testing with RamJam my little 1377 . I really like the scope with the green reticle , and the built in red dot laser on at the same time what a cool looking contrast. Shot these few groups. The ones marked 9 were 9g Apollo pellets , and 7.33 were JSB EXACT RS .

I agree anything with a plastic skirt has no accuracy at all. I was never able to 2 through the same hole.

If you are using a Hollow Point pellet that will expand you may still be able to get a one shot humane kill without the full penetration. A heavy pellet will also move slower thus less penetration as well. Edit: If you have a test plank you can use to set the power this will help , and if the...

I wanted to add that with a Springer the less powerful ones are not only easier to cock , and less recoil ,but will have good accuracy as well until you learn to manage that. OV
