how many of you store your gun with one pump of air in it? I always have but don't remember why, was it in the manual?

I mailed mine Friday to Baker airguns for pump rebuild. Don't know if they can help with barrel separation. Mine did the same thing a couple years after I bought it and sent it back to Sheridan but that was in 1977.

I am going to send a airgun in for service and was wondering how you guys prefer to ship. Everything I get thru UPS seems pretty beat up so I'm looking for options.

I'm thinking about the tactical stock. I've sent two messages thru their website about the weight of the tactical vs synthetic but have got no reply. 

Thanks for the information. So how does the .357 compare to the .408? Do you wish you had the .408 back?

thats what I'm thinking. I would like to pour my own ammo but have no experience. I'm in western Oklahoma and have the opportunity to hog hunt.

I saw this a couple days ago and was wondering the same thing. Didn't it also say something about the magazine being magnet.

I was under the impression the FX boss was built to shoot the JSB 44.75 gr. I haven't check it in years but mine was shooting in the 860 range. Sometimes it's about what the projectile wants not just the gun.
