Anyway, speaking of Sightron’s, of which I have 2, I was at a match and me and the other shooter with were doing good. We got to a Lane that a very small kill zone at about 35 yards. There were so many missed hits that the hole for the KZ was hard to see, my partner couldn’t tell exactly...
I too have one of those compressors for about 4 years and am very pleased. I use a THREE gallon container of water and I also add three 20 oz bottles of frozen water bottles with the caps removed. Generally I only fill from about 2800 psi to 4000 psi, takes about 15 to 20 minutes. However...
AS an old guy that still has a desire to shoot I have been reluctant to shoot much because of age and health. I don't miss many in hunter except for long ones due to errors in ranging, and the forced lanes are awful due to bad knees and a fake hip therefore i start every match at -10 because...
I may get a new Rotator to use as a gun carrier, the one I used yesterday in Florida for a FT match has such small wheels that they plowed into the sand and bogged down so I had to drag it along. After heart problems and Cancer I am a shadow of my former Toxic Masculinity. Also,I am older...
Kind of like a Tinker toy box with wheel. Just pull it along behind you. The bipod goes behind the nails on the top edge. Pellets go in the can that clamps to the strut. Box is big enough to carry small Carbon Fiber bottle for refills. Has never tipped over with gun in cradle
Was mounted to my spare FT gun and hardly ever used. Comes with small scope wheel, 1/4,1/8 moa and .1 mil turrets. ED means upscale glass. $550 with free shipping to lower 48. Pay with PayPal or usps money order after contact with [email protected]
Those look decent for thirty yards. Every time when I am comparing pellets, slugs, wind deflection, gun velocities I shoot at 50 yards. I have been using a 27 yard zero for 20 FPE testing. When I shoot at 25-30 yards everything looks good.
About four or five years ago I went to the FT Nationals at Phoenix. I was using a Sightron SIII 10-50 at that time and when HFT started I was doing well, after 3 lanes I had only missed one. I could taste the victory that was coming, then the next lane I missed 2, then 2 lanes where I got 1 or...
Another method of sealing stubborn fittings that just won’t seal is to forgo the seal and assemble with JB weld epoxy. Works like a charm. If you ever have to take it apart just heat with a propane torch to soften and twist off.
My Shoebox failed to pump past 3000 psi two years ago and was going to rebuild it, but then I learned of those $300 CHEAP Chinese compressors. Bought one and it has been flawless for the last two years.
Here's an idea. In Florida, if you are over 80 you can play from the Red Tees in Golf if you want to and not be too embarrassed . In order to retain the older guys in the sport that have a hard time of forced position shots lets do this. If over 72, you can use a monopod (bipod with both...
Did you do the test by pumping from the bucket, thru the hose , thru the compressor water jacket and then thru the outlet hose? If not, a repeat test is in order. Then another with the bucket on the floor and the compressor on a table 30 inches higher. There should be differences in each...
