I recently harvested an 8pt buck at 100 yards. I shoot 142 grain Nielsen hollow points out of my M357. It looked like he had been shot with a 30-30. More than enough for Texas Whitetail.

I am looking for a backpack gun to shoot Squirrels while in the deer stand. It will need to be moderated. I was looking at the Talon P, but don’t know if that is the best option. Let me know what you think. Not really worried about cost. Just want the right setup.

When I was installing the slugs in the chamber yesterday the seemed to slide in easy. I didn’t have very successful groupings. I have .30 75 grain slugs. I have several different kinds coming. Any pointers you have on this gun would be greatly appreciated. New out of the box. Thanks...
