My Gamo Whisper has a small plastic piece broken that is too insignificant to sell on its own, but too important to function without. This piece holds the rod that moves back and forth when you cock the gun, so I can't just super glue it. Any suggestions?

It's a Gamo 3-9x40 that came on a used silent stalker.

Maybe, it came with a used gun. 

Is there a fix to nonsense like this? Besides returning the scope to the manufacturer.

I just got a Gamo Whisper IGT off Midway, and now I'm going to put it in a Gamo Whisper G2 stock. I hope the screws don't chip too much. Any of you guys have any mixed guns?
