Congratulations! I will shoot this course of fire for the second time on Sunday with my CZ 457. Do not currently have a airgun that’s good for PRS style shooting with slugs.

I use an archery target from my local farmers supply store. Picked it up for about $20 and have used it for about two years without ever having a pellet or slug pass through it. Shot everything from .177 to .25 caliber with no issues.

I have had good luck shooting FX hybrids and some NSA slugs out of choked pellet liners. With most NSA slug weights you can pick the diameter.

Why did you shoot the Brk at 98 yards with pellets and the Avenge X at 87 with slugs? Why not shoot both guns at the same yardage and same ammo? Was each gun tuned for that particular ammo?

I never really paid that much attention to it. The next decent day of weather that I’m off work I will head up to the gun range and check that out. I have some JSB 7.33 grain pellets that I can Chrono and shoot also.

Im shooting Benjamin 10.5 at 878 fps on high and Jsb 8.44 at 801 on low. Haven’t tried the Jsb 7.33 yet.

My normal shooting is alone at a 300 yard range I belong to. I do shoot field target with a group of guys and I shoot Nrl22 and PRS rimfire matches in 3 states with my CZ 457.
