What would be really good is: If Skout can publish a description of the operation of both regulators and how the internal parts function in operation. It seems that, some, at least figured some and others some, but there is no complete picture ...and some who knows it all but would be nice to share.

Now... if I can only get the HP reg to hold firm from full fill down to 2000Psi...I would be happy....not sure if anyone else with sub 12 have the same issue. In my case it's 1450Psi @ full pressure, but down to 1250Psi @2000Psi bottle.

Well...I decided to cover SK-OU7008 with lots of lubricant - hell of a lot more than I would do normally...and I got it working...well at least this once...will see. I've ordered some O rings...thanks for your advice What's driving mad is: You fix one issue and another pops up!

Damn it...I spoke too soon. No the problem returned after turning the bottle on after it was turned off. Even with replacing the VRG 106 (L.P) that I got today, along with the the associated assembly...still no luck, exactly the same issue...:eek::eek::eek:

HW44 with a HW100 carbine air cylinder. It works!!!!!!!

Thanks...but two questions; 1- can you leave the gauge that comes with the HW110 cylinder on? 2-Does the back end (regulator/action) of the HW44 fit into the HW100 cylinder ? I'm also planning to fit HW110 Carbine barrel as well at the same time

HW44 with a HW100 carbine air cylinder. It works!!!!!!!

How to swap the HW44 cylinder with the HW100 one.? Does it simply means unscrewing the back end of the HW44 (regulator part) and fitting it to the HW100 cylinder?

OK, I think I got it licked The problem is the choice of material and diameter of the VRG 106 (L.P) . This seal deforms over time, and certainly the condition in may case. Although the mating faces did look clean and undamaged, the side view will show a bulging of the material at either end...

I have just done another experiment. I removed the tiny cylindrical seal in the LP - basically to stop being a regulator/ zero air in it. I turned the bottle on....yes, no air showing on the LP gauge. I started filling the gun...and no leaks all the way to 200 bar....There is something I am not...

I added more shims to the HP is order to see if I get more pressure. before venting.... This is even more strange I get to about 150 Bar then the HP blows out a loud puff of air and continues like this ...build up to 150 and bang, less than a second later another bang and so on....(using a...

Yes still on and leaking air, and dry firing...the problem is the pressure isn't getting above 125 BAR /1800 Psi , because of the big leak

Question is: If the LP is not regulating...going high, would that cause the HP to leak?

Yes tried both ...with and without filling
