The stikman is great for tethering tanks, but if you are running a external regulator or dont need the gauge, you can get away with a tman fitting like this for tethering.

I noticed you said you wanted to control the flow better. That wont help with that unless you meant you needed a better gauge setup. I wanted to have a gauge on the scuba and have the ability to tether 2 tanks together at the bench when Im shooting my big bores.
