    Replacement co2 seat?

Pyramyd confirms that it is KWC. Which is great, because in addition to fixing that mag, I found a slide with dovetails already cut for $20. I'm trying to get identical fiber optic sights on my Airsoft and my 45ACP Commander.

    Replacement co2 seat?

I've yet to find an actual manufacturer. It's the one Pyramyd sells: https://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Colt_Commander_Magazine_177_cal_18rds/5107 I think it's KWC but I can find no confirmation of this. I did find and order this...

    Replacement co2 seat?

One of my commander magazines has a bad seat, leaks horribly. I think I left a cartridge in it for a long time (year) before I knew not to do that. I'm looking for a replacement, but can't seem to find them. Does anyone know where I can get a new bottle seat/piercing valve?

    Air Pistol Preference

Egads... is that a pistol? It seems like a gun purpose built for shooting yourself in the foot

KWC built 1911's - slide stop not releasing on pullback

So apparently it's a known problem common to virtually all of them. I've found three different fixes 1) disable the slide stop detent spring. This might work for some, but on mine (and the ones in the video below) the slide stop catch is cavernous and would never push the slide stop lever down...

KWC built 1911's - slide stop not releasing on pullback

Looking at it a bit closer, I think the slide lock detent is just cut about 0.150" forward of where it should be in order to move the lever out of the way on pull back. It doesn't take much travel to pick up a 6mm bb.

KWC built 1911's - slide stop not releasing on pullback

I have a Umarex Colt Commander (in BB) and just got one in Airsoft (doesn't say Umarex but it appears to be a KWC built gun AFAIK). On neither will the slide release by pulling back the slide. On a fresh magazine, on NO magazine, at all. You HAVE to pull down on the slide release lever to...

    Air Pistol Preference

I guess you could say I have a preference, but it's more like an iterative search. 45ACP, BB and Airsoft. I'm not sure how much usage the BB version will get now that airsoft opens up close range target options a bit. For anyone interested - the Umarex 'Commander' is the same length as the...

    Air Pistol Preference

I guess my Diana Chaser counts, but it only becomes a pistol when I put it in the case, because it's not long enough to hold it in rifle mode. I also have an Umarex Colt Commander BB, and just bought nearly the same gun (another KWC built Govt model) in airsoft for indoor training.

Anyone know where to target shoot in MN?

Tempting as they may be, power line right of way is usually an easement on someone else's property. They may or may not care, as owning the dirt under the power lines is often of little use to them, but it is usually privately owned, and thus you really shouldn't go play soccer or picnic \on...

    Blowback or not?

Too slow. Bought the KWC airsoft version (although it's a Govt model, not a Commander length barrel - hope it still fits my holsters)

    Blowback or not?

First of all, let me preface this by saying I already have a blowback CO2 1911 (Umarex) BB gun, that's fun but pretty much only good for paper and cans outdoors. And also that I'm actually looking for a metal airsoft 1911. Something I can shoot indoors and practice presentation drills with. The...

Dust Devils - Umarex Commander - nogo

I've been thinking about a 45 degree inclined plate with piezo triggering. I'd just hoped that I could use the much simpler frangible bb's instead of another project.

Dust Devils - Umarex Commander - nogo

I don't think I got more than three or four in a row to even leave the barrel. So disappointed because I was so looking forward to these. I wonder if I can shoot steel at a 45 degree plate trap...

Dust Devils - Umarex Commander - nogo

Well, I finally got around to trying dust devils in my Umarex Commander.. I had high hopes, if it worked I was planning on making a modified IDPA target - steel over wood for the bulk of the target (thunk) and a cutout with a 1/4" steel plate for the 5 ring (clang). But alas. I had major...
