not new to tuning pcp but new to tuning with the valve adjuster. i'm shooting 30 cal hybrid slugs in 600mm barrel. wondering if there is consensus on fine tuning with hammer spring or valve? what i mean: - i'm looking for 950-960 fps per fx rec on the hybrids - start off with heavy hammer...

thanks for all the replies. the hybrids do shoot pretty good. still fine tuning but usually around 1/2 inch at 50yrds. i'll give some of the others a try for accuracy but sounds like i shouldnt have to worry about clean kills with what i'm using. thanks again

Im shooting groundhogs at <50yrds with fx impact m3 in .30. Looking for the right slug. I know shot placement is key, and do headshots. I take raccoons pretty easy with headshots using fx hybrids. Been thinking to keep using the hybrids or maybe try javelins. What are others using in similar...

thanks. i was thinking that the extra power is coming from extra air which may translate to higher muzzle noise. not sure.

i have a wildcat mk2 .25 and am thinking about grabbing a maverick sniper .25 for some extra power but am worried about noise level as need to keep quiet where i shoot. how loud is the maverick vs the wildcat? i have donny fl on the wildcat and would do same on maverick. thanks in advance

thanks, i was thinking of hitting it with a torch but dont want to melt any seals etc. i'll maybe try the heat gun and if it doesnt move i'll try to find someone who tunes them. 

yes, checked the basics, thanks for asking. i'm a little stressed about adjusting the hs because i read some horror stories about stripping it and then having to drill out etc. would hate to bust up a $1,500 gun. cant seem to get ahold of ernest though. i left him an email and pm'd him here...
