Did you shoot the Tempest on support or off-hand when doing the testing? You may know this, but just like many springer pistols, the Tempest usually goes way off target when used on hard support, i.e. off-hand is the only option for consistent accuracy.

The chaser is our most quiet pistol.

Just to clarify. I use the patch on my dominant eye that I use for aiming, and I aim through the small hole in the black flexible plastic patch. This makes the target come into focus even when using reading glasses. The reading / computer glasses make sure the rear and front sight is in focus.

I did try a quick DIY o-ring hack today to get a working seal in a leaking .22 cal Crosman 38C I have had lying around for a while. It worked OK for 4 CO2 bulbs before the leak got too big. I need to get a proper seal kit for this one. The seal kits only seem to be available in the US though...

You could try this simple, free and minimalistic shooting hack to see if it fixes your sight / aiming / vision problem. It works very good for me, but might not work for you. It allows me to see the rear and front pistol sight in perfect focus, and the target in good enough focus if I use weak...

Note that some springer pistols cannot be shot accurately on hard support, due to the recoil. I have not tried the HW45 though. If your shot series were shot on support, try shooting off hand without support.

Amazing pistol! Great work! It is really a piece of art with the awesome feature that it can be used. Not just hung on a wall.
