HW/Weihrauch Tuning kit w/o seal replacement?

I have a question about the Vortek seal... I get that they don't need sizing because they 'wear in' to the proper fit. But do they continue to wear after that to eventually become too loose? I know, I'm over thinking again.

HW/Weihrauch Tuning kit w/o seal replacement?

A year ago I bought a new HW50s in .177 and love it. However, it does have a twang which hasn't gone away in ~4,000-5,000 shots. I'm going to order a tuning kit from ARH, and I'm wondering if I need to replace the piston seal. I installed a Vortek kit in a used RWS 350 Magnum I have, and did...

    First air rifle questions

TL;DR Order your HW50s right now. I got the HW50s a couple of months ago in .177 from Krale. https://www.krale.shop/us/weihrauch-hw50-s/ I've been shooting airguns for 50 years, and I've never been happier with a gun I've bought. it's just an absolutely sweet shooter that does everything well...

There was a lot of side-to-side play between the top and...

    RWS workmanship

Very interesting about the offset bore. Do you mean the bore is centered at the muzzle but slightly off at the breech? I'll check mine this afternoon; did you just measure to your bore from the edge of the base block on all sides? An odd thing about my gun is that to center my shots I have...

    RWS workmanship

I just got a used RWS Diana 350 magnum in .177 and for the most part it is a great rifle. It's kind of a beast but not too much to handle. My first impression was that this was a finely crafted gun, but up close there are a couple of things in its fit/finish that are disappointing. First, the...
