Thanks Guys. The Ground Squirrel we have here in CA are a little plumper than a Gray Squirrel. Almost the size of a Prairie Dog. Yes, I've heard of the modifications they are making on them which is a very appealing part of why I was looking at the Gauntlet.

Hey All, Kinda new to the air gunning world but a long time shooter/hunter. I'm being invaded by ground squirrels and don't think my RWS .177 will have enough knockdown. I'm looking at the Umarex Gauntlet in 22 cal. The max shot should be 75 yards. Is this enough? or should I opt for the .25...
