I know, but depending on the Power level (a .22 is not that big in a platform designed to go up to .30) it may not be of much relevance a small decrease. At least that was my hope.
Yes it was. And the same seller has an upgrade for the hammer to quiet the action more. Should have got that also. After some fiddling with the regulator and testing I found a tune that mantains the same velocity (and accuracy) with the depinger. My uragan2 is now really great! Quiet and...
I guess it really depends on the type of valve you are using. It should be true to some extent in most cases, but in this kind of valve mechanism it should show more then on more tradicional valve-hammer PCP.
Well, that is something for the USA folks to think about. The Huben GK1 comes from China, and the FX comes from Europe. In some time the markup on the GK1 will make it too expensive if the political background does not chance. Lets see the FX price.
Well, I find this quite ok for ther power generated. Its not the most efficient gun out there, my GK1 is more eficient, and I'm sure there are others, but its not bad taking into account many other reports I've read and compared. If I lower the speed to someting like 850fps the amount of shots...
Because of a similar story I now always hunt with my 12 gauge shotgun at ground level when hog hunting. And the last 2 rounds are buck shot. When shooting from high up or inside my truck I use rifle. 30.06 in my case. Would never use my .22 airgun for a hog. Only if its in a trap or something...
I use slugs and understand you wanting to use slugs, but up to just 55yds I would just use a good expansive pellets, like the JSB Hades. They drop a lot of energy really fast. Otherwise, just use light/médium soft lead hollow slugs.
If the design is the same as the U2 you can adjust the hammer, but the diffference is almost none. Its a balanced valve therefor there is not much you can adjust on the valve side. The adjustment should be done on the regulator side. My U2 is quite efficient, I'm shooting 25,5gr slugs at...
I have one in 4-16x. Its an OK scope, but I dont love it. The eyebox its small and the reticle sometimes is not in focus. I much prefer my veyron in reticle clarity. And its cheaper.
