Hi i was wondering how many of you have the shroud touching the airtube, when torqued beyond 5nm ? And does it affect your accuracy?

The gauge cover was not crosstreaded. I found out Even torqued to 5nm the shroud is touching the airtube. Is it something i do wrong? How on the earth can i torque the barrel to 10-12 ft.lbs (13-16,57Nm) without making the shroud looking like a banana is beyond my understanding. tried again...
