I own one of each in 22 caliber both have very nice walnut stocks. The build quality and shot cycle make them my favorite rifles to shoot.

I picked up an WH98 back in December from AOA. Went in to just look around but after shooting various spring guns came home with the HW98 in 22 caliber. It is very accurate and has become one of my favorites. Downloaded your target and will give it a try this weekend.

This may not be the problem but I had the same issue with my Condor SS. On my rifle the safety linkage was hanging up causing difficult cocking until finally it just locked up.

Have been looking at the Vortek SHO kit for my HW50 in 20 caliber. Think it would make a nice light walking around hunting rifle and the with the Vortek giving it a bit more power. Any one have thoughts or direct experience with the Vortek in the 20 caliber?

I placed two separate orders with PA with each order containing both backordered pellets and some in stock items. They are holding both orders until the pellets come in, which is currently towards the end of May. Ordered late at night so did not pay close attention when ordering.
