    Alkin w31 Mariner 3hp 220v Plug Cap/Amp Recommendation

I wasn’t positive that the dryer plug would work so Im having a dedicated 30 amp set up for my compressor. I just wanted a stand-alone connection to my compressor and didn’t want any other household electrical items feeding off this connection. Just a warm fuzzy for me this way. First I have...

    Alkin w31 Mariner 3hp 220v Plug Cap/Amp Recommendation

Appreciate the confirmation. I have an electrician coming over to put in the correct breaker. I am sure I will love it when I get it running. I also saw an Alkin video that they are shipped with the 10 minute run time already completed and I can start filling my tanks right away without the...

    Alkin w31 Mariner 3hp 220v Plug Cap/Amp Recommendation

Thanks for the info…good to know you can also use a 20 plug and is proven to work on your system for 5 years. I went ahead and purchased a 30 amp locking receptacle and Plug. Should be good to go!

    Alkin w31 Mariner 3hp 220v Plug Cap/Amp Recommendation

I know nothing about electrical… I have an Alkin W31 Mariner 3hp 220v 16.6 amp compressor. I am finishing my basement as I am writing this and would like to know if I should use a 30 amp with a L6-30P/L630R 250v or a 20 amp with a Nema 6-20R 250v plug. Not sure what I just wrote, but I...

Alkin W31 Mariner / good value?

I misspoke. my W31 Mariner was 4k with 1 qt of oil and 1 extra air and p21 filter. Shipping was $350 through XPO. Total was $4350 vice $4200 as stated above. Don‘t mean to mislead anyone.

Alkin W31 Mariner / good value?

I just received my W31 Mariner this week. I was going to buy from Utah Airguns when the price was $3995.00 and when I went to pull the trigger, I also noticed the price went up $400. I called Alkin direct and they gave me the $3900 pricing. Basically paid $4200 with shipping and added extra...

Bench Rest Accuracy with tuner (Heliboard)

Sounds like fill is a constant factor. Copy regarding pellets, but you are above my pay grade when it comes to liners/choke. I am fairly new to PCPs and learning everyday. I will do some research on choke/liners. I don’t think link liners apply to the Red Wolf. I am sure by the end of the...

Bench Rest Accuracy with tuner (Heliboard)

I’ll see what 980 does for my RW. Would be nice not to have to worry too much about fliers. 18gr doesn’t seem to be too much of an issue, just some tweaking. Plan to mostly shoot 25s so your history is much help. Glad you take good notes : ). I will check my fill pressure next time I shoot...

Bench Rest Accuracy with tuner (Heliboard)

Thank you for the fps/pellet data. I will definitely work around these numbers when I get my tuner. I have been playing with both JSB 25.39 and FX 25.4 pellets at different speeds, but I need the tuner to put them in a sweet spot to be sure which pellet my rifle likes. My RW also likes a...

I lubed with baristol. I will try my next batch with silicone. I need to buy a scale to start my sorting. Any little bit helps. Thank you!

I will definitely do that this summer. I plan to volunteer at RMAC for Utah Airguans. Sounds like my kind of family :) . I have been following a lot of your discussions and shooting. Very impressive.

Bench Rest Accuracy with tuner (Heliboard)

Thanks 6Gun…I think the tune will do wonders…appreciate your comments: I took the advice of “Igolfat8” and lubed my pellets and changed up the rear rest and shot a couple of more target cards Today. My brother had a Cheaney rear bag with a pump and gave that a shot. I still need to buy a...
