    AEA .45 megalodon round balls?

You can even spray paint them. Add extra coats if you need a tighter fit. Paint them blaze orange and you'll have tracer rounds! However, the paint might gunk up your barrel that will require cleaning more often.

    AEA .45 megalodon round balls?

Hornady and most 45 cal round balls are .457 in diameter. You might not be able to source round balls ( 45cal) any larger. You might want to try coating them in lube or a bullet coating that may add a few thousands of an inch. This might give you a snugger fit.

Edgun West ... check them out 1st!

I have purchased multiple guns from them . Top notch ! If you are in the market for a Western Airgun, you need to see the "Pro" models. Bigger tanks, better moderators. The only way to go! Thanks Brian!

" Older " ... that might be an understatement! Is that a reproduction? Either way , an amazing gun!

Looking to get into big bore !

Alkin is the way to go . As for manufactures of big bore you seem to have hit the major. Airforce probably has the most accessible/ affordable and high power options available. Plus they leave you plenty of room to tinker. AOA has the Bush Buck which is an off the shelf rifle with...

Looking to get into big bore !

From one airgunholic to another... Pump the brakes! Its easy to be a kid in candy store and fill the gun safe with all kinds of cool toys ... but you will buy a wrong item or 2 in the rush. I have been shooting big bores for over 20 years and own many different calibers. It seems the 45/ 50...

A video worth watching: The Girardoni Air Gun (original 1780 example)

Its a dream of many airgunners to see let alone shoot a Girardoni. I own a 44 cal. DAQ/BBB Liege Lock . It is a modern reproduction of an antique rifle. Very cool and unique to shoot. Just a side note these are no longer in production and Dennis will not make anymore. Duke

    Big bore caliber recommendation

You can never go too big with airguns! As long as noise is not a determing factor. My favorite bigbore to shoot is my 58 cal. Yes, they are air hogs and if you buy cast bullets it gets costly. But I own dozens of bullet molds in many different weights and calibers and many pounds of lead. So in...

Finally found a gun in my collection that will shoot FX slugs....

I have a 909 Career 22 and the only projectiles that feed an shoot well are the H&N Rabbit Magnum II which are slug shaped. Duke

Take a look at the Ataman M2R bullpup in .357 It is similar in style as the Cricket and I believe it has a better reputation. Duke

I was speaking about air rifles in general. You are correct... not with a springer. -Duke

Could be many issues.... Why did the first owner sell the Benjamin? Is the barrel messed up ? Or some other issues with the rifle? What scopes & rings did you try? The F4 is a entry level budget gun. It can be challenging getting top performance out of an $80 dollar gun. You may want to...

    Is JSAR still open?

How True! Its been going on for decades. I remember back in the 90's everything was about FPS. A manufacturer would claim his springer would shoot 900 fps. Little did anyone know that was with a zinc tipped plastic pellet! - Duke
